BLMA and Pont-de-Chéruy have been heavily sanctioned by the FFBB Management Review Commission

The French Basketball Federation (FFBB) announced the decisions of the Management Control Commission against 7 clubs. The most severe sanction was taken into account by the club Lattes-Montpellier (LFB) and the following were cut:

• Inconsistency with approved budget 2021/22
• Failure to meet reserve fund commitment 2021/22
• Preparation of incomplete or invalid documents or failure to present the reality of the club’s financial situation.

As a result, BLMA imposed a financial penalty of 25,000 euros. Otherwise, the Gazelles were not penalized in the standings for the loss of points, which is the case for other clubs, Pont-de-Chéruy (NM1) and La Glacerie (NF1). So, Dounia Issa’s team lost 3 points in the 1st stage and 2 points less in the second stage.
