Sale / Good deal – Oppo Find X5 smartphone “5 stars” €635.15

The Oppo Find X5 Pro’s younger brother, the Find X5, stands out as a high-end smartphone, even if it makes some concessions to stay below the symbolic €1,000 level at launch.

Like the Pro version, the Oppo Find X5 is a great smartphone with no punishing flaws except for the lack of waterproofing. To reduce the bill, the Chinese manufacturer made small concessions in the technical sheet, such as the option of a panel without SoC or LTPO technology from 2021. In use, these options are smart, because the smartphone is very efficient, provides satisfactory autonomy and takes its place in photography. However, its price remains very high, leaving it facing strong competition. Therefore, the Find X5 Pro is an attractive alternative for those who are put off by the price.

Strong points

  • Nice finish to the touch.
  • Very nice OLED screen.
  • Strong and stable Soc.
  • Versatile in photography.
  • Good battery life and fast charging.

Weak points

  • Lack of waterproof certificate.
  • There is no LTPO technology for the display.
  • The telephoto lens is 2 times less convincing than other smartphone photo modules.

Like its predecessor, the Google Pixel 7 is a great smartphone. It benefits from a beautiful display, a powerful SoC and a very good photo sensor duo. Additionally, its pricing position makes it more affordable than the vast majority of its high-end competitors without any real compromises. We can certainly blame it for gaming fever, always-slow charging, or too much resemblance to the Pixel 6, but these flaws are minimal in terms of the overall experience, which is more intuitive on Android 13.
