Assistance of up to €37,400 for the purchase of a hydrogen vehicle in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region continues its policy of supporting hydrogen mobility. Officializing the receipt of new funding from ADEME a few days ago, the area is announcing a list of grants to professionals and communities to purchase hydrogen vehicles. We count!
Which vehicles and spectators are concerned?
Acquisition of new or less than 10 months used hydrogen fuel cell light commercial vehicles or passenger cars, companies of all sizes, vehicle hire companies, self-employed, liberal professions (Purchase, LOA or LLD), local authorities bodies and their groups, public institutions and associations established in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. This area consists of 12 departments. These are Ain, Allier, Ardèche, Cantal, Drôme, Isère, Loire, Haute-Loire, Puy-de-Dôme, Rhône, Savoie and Haute-Savoie.
The event has 4 objectives at the territorial level: improving air quality, reducing carbon emissions, participating in the energy transition and promoting economic development.
For this reason, various restrictions are associated with the allocation of 2 subsidies that reduce the significant difference between the prices of VEPAC (Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles) and equivalent diesel models.
2 helpers that can be combined
With the idea of promoting the development of a complete and viable ecosystem of electric hydrogen mobility in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the region offers initial assistance to professionals and similar individuals committed to driving a minimum distance of 15,000 km per year per vehicle. at least 4 years. Hydrogen refueling should be done at the stations in the area. A subsidy provided by the EU can be added for those who want to give priority to enterprises built within the framework of the European ZEV (Zero Emission Valley) project.
Also, this program, which envisages the installation of at least 2 electrolyzers and the connection of 500 cars, should allow the opening of about twenty stations in the area. Hympulsion, which is responsible for the refueling network, maintains a map of the locations. Chambéry and Moûtiers (73) sites are now open. Work is underway at the stations of Bourg-en-Bresse (01), Aubenas (07), Montélimar and Valence (26), Bourgoin, as well as Grenoble and Vienna (38), Andrézieux and Saint-Etienne (42), Riom (). 63), Modane (73), Archamps and Annecy (74).
Amounts vary depending on the size of the company
Regardless of the size of the structure, it is easiest to calculate the European subsidy for vehicles joining the ZEV project: 5,000 euros for a car or 9,000 euros for a van. The allocation by region varies according to the size and quality of the enterprise:
- For small businesses, for communities and associations it is €14,800 for a car and €28,400 for a utility vehicle. It is in this category that we find the maximum support by combining 2 assistants: 19,800 euros for the sedan (official layout) and 37,400 euros for the van.
- The medium enterprises will receive €11,200 for a car (€16,200 accumulated by joining the ZEV program) or €21,600 for a utility vehicle (a total of €30,600 if eligible for 2 grants).
- For large companiesthe region has set EUR 7,600 (car) and EUR 14,800 (van), i.e. EUR 12,600 and EUR 23,800 respectively, with a possible European share.
Note the specific restriction for the European award: “Do not sell the subsidized car outside the European zone for 5 years”. In addition, the region provides a reservation regarding the maximum amount of envelope to be accepted. It must comply with the “degrees of aid intensity” appearing in the framework scheme for environmental aid exemption SA.59108. “.
