After the particularly successful Find X3 Pro, Oppo intends to continue its good momentum with the Find X5 Pro. This decidedly high-end smartphone is not lacking in assets.

Oppo’s Find X5 Pro is a very convincing successor to the particularly successful Find X3 Pro. This smartphone doesn’t show itself when it comes to taking photos, it plays the software processing rather than the megapixel card. It succeeds, and its ability to perform very well at both wide-angle and ultra-wide angle makes up for the slightly lower optical zoom than its direct competition. For the rest, Find X5 Pro has a beautiful screen, the power, of course, is not excessive, but sufficient, and also has good autonomy (not to mention very practical fast charging). With such a device, Oppo confirms that it deserves its place in the big leagues.

Strong points

• Very nice OLED screen.
• Very convincing ultra-wide angle.

• Satisfactory autonomy.

Weak points

• Its power is not that high.
• Only 2x photo zoom.
• A little heavy, especially compared to the Find X3 Pro.

The Pixel 7 Pro confirms the good copy made by last year’s Pixel 6 Pro. The smartphone refines a remarkable formula: Google places a very bright Oled screen, a powerful Tensor G2 chip and photo equipment that makes it one of the most versatile terminals. Android 13 is entitled to special improvements (voicemail transcription, future free VPN) that serve this successful hardware. Of course, we regret that the smartphone does not do better in terms of autonomy and fast charging, in this area Google does not perform miracles, and this year we can also blame the terminal for its rather massive design. But in our opinion, these elements are not enough to darken this very convincing picture.
