The French Abroad: Sylvain Francisco regales Peristeri

Last week, the French from the BCL stood out with excellent performances in goalscoring… and wins as a bonus!

The French have not been successful in this new week with two matches in the Euroleague. Returning to the competition, Mam Jaiteh and Isaiah Cordinier conceded defeat at home to Virtus Bologna. Also in Italy, Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot suffered a similar fate with a big first setback in Berlin before hosting Zalgiris Kaunas in Milan and lost again (61-66). More mixed results for interior Mathias Lessort and Moustapha Fall, who managed to win with their team after the defeat earlier in the week.

Real Madrid’s French side left on the European stage this weekend with two wins, not to mention their league success. Fabien Causeur Alba was one of Madrid’s main guides in Berlin with 11 points and 3 assists. The duo of Anadolu Efes scored another great performance in the game they won against Barcelona with a score of 75-80. Rodrigue Bobois finished with 14 and Amath M’Baye with 10.

The French of the BCL are succeeding in their game

There are three of them this season and they all won the match of the week in the second game of the BCL. Confirming their second win against Igokea, Frédéric Bourdillon’s Hapoel Holon team (15 points, 3 rebounds) confirmed their ticket to the last 16 of the competition and will join the same group as SIG Strasbourg in the next round.

With 17 points and 5 rebounds, Jerry Boutsiele played a decisive role in allowing “Bahçeşehir” to stay in the race for the qualification. It’s back home against Ostend on Tuesday in the decider. Sylvain Francisco’s Perister (19 points and 8 assists) defeated JDA 92-88 in a breathtaking duel that ended in overtime. Match 3 in Dijon this Wednesday.

The tricolor leader shone in the league. Sylvain Francisco scored his second double-double of the season in a visit to Thessaloniki (70-81) with 16 points and 10 assists. Further east, another French genius of the transition uses his qualities in the service of the collective. Tomas Heurtel continues to play for Zenit with 20 points and 9 assists against Lokomotiv Kuban. Finally, note the good performance of Malcolm Cazalon with 13 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists in Igokea (109-115) in the Adriatic league.
