The year 2022 was rich in many moments from the technological point of view. For laptops, it has seen the official arrival of foldable screens as well as new generation chips such as the highly successful 12th generation at Intel or the M2 at Apple. It should also be noted that, like everything else, prices don’t go down… they go up.
This year was the year of the ultrabook: the three best PCs of this year are all of them. It should also be noted that these are increasingly powerful, with better controlled heating.

The Zenbook S 13 Oled has everything you need for the perfect ultraportable. Slim, light, stylish, the lightweight from Asus measures just 1.49cm at its thickest point. Weighing only 1,096 kg, it is the perfect companion for any nomad. It fully encourages mobile productivity with a beautiful, all-aluminum, large keyboard and trackpad that is extended as far as possible.
But where the Asus stands out, especially in this price bracket, is on the screen. The 2880 × 1800 pixel OLED panel is particularly well balanced, while being easily adjustable to suit your touchscreen needs. But the Zenbook also stands out for its performance, which is surprisingly good: the Ryzen 7 6800U does the job perfectly, and thanks to the AMD Radeon 680M graphics chipset, you can handle a number of demanding tasks, especially certain games… without overheating.
Asus ultrabook is also satisfactory in terms of autonomy, if you make the right settings, it reaches the day. Of course, we will mention a few black points here and there, for example, the location of the speakers under the chassis or the lack of 90 Hz for cooling.
Still, with all these points in mind, the Zenbook S13 Oled is a recommended model for those looking for an ultraportable under Windows.

Apple has been perfecting the popular MacBook Air for years now. And it’s clear that the apple brand has reached some maturity with the 2022 edition called the MacBook Air M2. It must be said that the company took a giant step by introducing ARM processors in 2020.
A worthy successor to the M1 in 2022, the M2 is stronger in terms of power, heating and autonomy. The performance/autonomy ratio is simply the best in its range. Lacking fans, the MacBook Air is perfectly silent. It’s a perfect machine to work on: the keyboard and Touchpad have reached an excellent level of finish and comfort. The same goes for the quality of the aluminum chassis, which now resembles the design of the MacBook Pro, placing it in the high-end range. However, the device is not free from flaws: the new notch on the screen is not the most pleasant, and it deprives us of Face ID. Lack of confidence in the resistance of dark colors.
If you want a Mac, you can’t go wrong with Apple’s latest version. But on the other hand, you will have to pay a price because the firm has drastically increased the prices. It’s definitely the best laptop of 2022, considering just what it is, consumers will have to make their choice in light of the availability of the MacBook Air M1, which could be interesting.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon lives up to its name. Weighing less than a pound, it’s also exceptionally thin and compact with a small 13.3-inch panel.
