In terms of laptops, Asus ROG has treated us to eccentric concepts or models at every new exhibition. But nothing will happen this year. Hybrids: Flow X13, X16 and Z13

Therefore, the range of hybrids develops only at the level of on-board components. The Flow X13 (13.4-inch) and Flow X16 (16-inch) are fully convertible gaming laptops. Both are equipped with a GeForce RTX 4070 with a TGP of 60 W for the X13 and 120 W for the X16: in other words, the performance will mainly be in favor of the 16-inch. The latter will carry a 13th generation Intel Core H-series processor, while the 13-incher will be powered by AMD’s Ryzen 7000. On the display side, the X13 will be available with QHD 165 Hz or Full HD 120 Hz IPS. panel, the X16 gets even more generous by housing a 240 Hz QHD IPS panel with optional Mini-Led backlighting.

The Flow Z13 sports an X13 screen clocked at 165 Hz with an X16 processor. On the other hand, the graphics part is entrusted to GeForce RTX 4060 (65 W).

Slim and compact: Zephyrus M16, G14, G16 and Duo 16

ROG’s Zephyrus brings together slim and compact laptops. We mention the Zephyrus M16 model (2.2 cm and 2.1 kg) with a 16-inch QHD 240 Hz panel and Mini-Led variant; Equipped with 13 Gen Intel Core H series processor and 145 W GeForce RTX 4090.

Finally, the most efficient ROG notebooks can be found in the Strix Scar range, available in 16, 17 and 18-inch diagonals, with a slightly reduced version: Strix G16, G17 and 18.

The Strix Scar 16 and 18 feature a 13th Gen Intel Core HX series processor paired with a 175W RTX 4090, accompanied by up to 64GB DDR5 and a 4TB SSD. There are two options for each IPS panel size: a 16-inch QHD 240 Hz, with or without Mini-LED, and a 240 Hz QHD panel in the 18-inch and, more strangely, a 165 Hz Full HD panel for curiosity’s sake. The Stix Scar 17, on the other hand, will “only” choose an AMD Ryzen 7000 and a maximum 2TB SSD. The Strix Scar 16 and 18 will be available this quarter with prices starting at €3,999; Scar 17 is €200 cheaper.

The Strix G16 and G18 also opt for a 13th generation Intel HX series processor with a 175W GeForce RTX 4080. These versions don’t have a Mini-Led option for the screen, but a simple 240Hz QHD IPS panel or even Full HD at 165Hz. As with Scars, the 17-inch version of the G is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7000 processor, while the GPU is entrusted to the RTX 4070 with a 140 W TGP. The Strix G will be available this first quarter starting at €1,699 for the G16, €2,299 for the G17 and €2,399 for the G18.
