Christmas fun
– The festival committee of Saint-Germain-les-Belles is organizing a festive afternoon around the Christmas village on the Rhine and Danube square on Saturday, December 17 from 1 p.m. on the same day in the continuation of the city’s Christmas market from 9am to 1pm on the Champs-de-Foirs.

– Pierre-Buffière celebrates Christmas on Saturday, December 17 from 6:00 p.m., Along the rue Dupuytren and around the Place du Bas-Château: illuminations, walks, torch trading and many surprises. Mulled wine and chocolate. Organized by the Life and Laughter of the Elder Pierre-Buffière association with the help of the municipality. Christmas market the next day.
Christmas markets
The municipality of Saint-Sulpice-les-Feuilles, artisans, traders and other voluntary associations will come together on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 December to propose an ambitious program for the 2022 Christmas market..
The program in the church square and car park is as follows:
Saturday. – Stalls and gourmet market from 14:00; brass with bande de Chatelaude; free walks offered by the municipality; Photo with Santa Claus. At the big top of the stars, at 15.30, workshop children’s theater; 4:45 p.m., workshop dances choreographed by Nelly; 17:15, competition for the best Christmas costumes. The Fabre d’Eglantine college choir will perform at 6 p.m., followed by the Oui rock choir at 6:30 p.m., and a Heaven-Gospel concert at the church at 9:30 p.m.
Sunday. – From 9am to 5pm, a market with many exhibitors and paid rides. Prizes for the Christmas raffle are available from the artisans and traders association’s Nomade bistro. Tickets are sold for €2 at participating merchants.

Choir
On Friday, December 16, at 18:00 in the village hall of Ladignac-le-Long lake, the male choir of the Saint-Yrieix Vocal Ensemble Homm’ & Gars will give its first concert of the season. Under the direction of Marie-Laure Prince, the choir consisted of about fifteen singers. The first part is based on popular, classical, sea songs, etc., with instrumental accompaniment on guitar and/or flute. After a gourmet break (drinks and cake offered), the public will be invited to sing traditional Christmas carols (lyrics provided) in the second half. Admission: €8, free for children under 18.
