Fairy tale

Theater
Tuesday, December 13 at 7pm at Espace Confluences in Condat-sur-Vienne a performance will be given Mrs. Chicken, from La Pierre et le Tapis, directed by Céline Lagues. This is an adaptation of excerpts from the book Fluffy and fluffy letters By Philippe Lechermeier. The actors alternate between dialogue scenes, short monologues, and purely body silent scenes. Arguments, puns and language notes are handled with humor and bite.

– Le P’tit Bidule on rue Peyrusson in Saint-Junien presents two shows on Sunday, December 11 at 4 p.m. : The Wellluned, between theater and acrobatics, puppetry and clowning. Choirs
– On Sunday, December 11 at 4:00 p.m., the choir La Clef des chants, directed by Julia Naulin from Compreignac, will present a winter concert in the church of Compreignac. This year’s guests are the Melodica women’s choir of Magnac-Laval, directed by Susan Sommerville, and the Creuse Musica Gaudio ensemble, directed by David Kirby-Ashmore. The program includes sacred music and carols, traditional and popular carols, and of course Christmas carols from here and elsewhere. Free participation.

Bible
The municipality of Saint-Gence presents an exceptional Christmas concert at the Lemovix gymnasium on Saturday, December 10 at 8:30 p.m.. On this occasion, The Gospel Fusion will perform with the participation of Gospel Tor Carrat Choir and Gospel Fusion Kids from Salon-la-Tour. 65 singers, soloists, accompanied by three musicians will revisit Christmas carols and gospel songs. – The city of Panazol is organizing a Christmas concert at Le Roque on Saturday, December 10 at 6:00 p.m. “Les DéSAXés” is a quartet of crazy Saxophone brothers turned showman, dancer, sound effects artist, singer… Shown at Olympia (Part One of Dany Boon), at Burj spring as well as at the Paleo Festival in Nyons, they crossed continents and received awards as varied as applause. They will be at the Rock to perform their show Mad Sax.

– In preparation for the demonstrations on June 17 and 18, 2023, the Chaptelat organizing committee is organizing a concert by the Espérance group in the Chaptelat church on Sunday, December 11 at 3:30 p.m.
This band, keyboards, guitars and vocals, is reborn after a long hiatus and will certainly put Saint Eloi and Christmas in the spotlight. The audience will also be asked to vote. ADMISSION IS FREE.
river dance
The Ciel de musette association is organizing a tea dance on Sunday, December 11 at the village hall of Saint-Germain-Les-Belles, from 2:00 pm to 7:30 pm.. Ciel de musette brings together around 30 accordion players, a singer, a drummer, a trumpet player, a keyboard player and two guitarists. These musicians, mostly retired, of all skill levels, love music, especially the harmonica.
Christmas markets
On Sunday, December 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Arnac-la-Poste will host a traditional Christmas market on the Champs-de-Foys, organized by the town’s festival committee.
There will be lots of artists and a free carousel for kids. Many events will be offered throughout the day, including a children’s balloon release at 3:30 p.m., a surprise raffle at 4:30 p.m., and a visit from Santa. Les Arnacois theater troupe will be offering makeup and coloring workshops all afternoon.

– Les Petites mains s’amusent association is organizing a Christmas market at Les Cars village hall on Sunday 11 December from 9am to 5pm. Secours Catholique de Saint-Junien is holding its own flea market on Saturday, December 10, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. In the hall of La Persévérance, rue Chateaubriand in Saint-Junien. Sale of tableware, small furniture, books, toys, various items and clothes for adults and children. The funds raised will be used to support the actions of Secours Catholique.
