The Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition appears to be a more pragmatic version of the Galaxy S20. A spec sheet containing the Qualcomm SoC claimed by many in Europe based on “fan” advice.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G is a great success overall. It successfully adopts what is suitable for the Galaxy S family and opts for the long-requested Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC in Europe. Samsung has a smartphone that can compete with many references in the market.

• Satisfying basic photo module.
• Strong autonomy.

Weak points

• No mini-jack or adapter.
• Disappointing secondary photo modules.

Google’s Pixel 6a isn’t bad compared to the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. The “affordable” version of this smartphone convinces with its undeniable advantages: a quality screen, more than satisfactory performance and a very manageable photo component. It is also IP67 certified, taking this feature from high-end terminals. What’s missing is slightly faster charging, higher screen brightness and a more generous refresh rate. But at the launch price, there are few or no smartphones to date with a basic warranty to provide long-term software monitoring.
