The Kings are still winless this season

Only four games in the NBA tonight, but at least two clearly kept us going, so let’s not complain. For the rest? The following lines, you know the way.

Tonight’s results (with little home stats going well)

What to remember

  • Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving were great, sometimes unbelievable, against the Mavs.
  • Other than that, Luka Doncic had nothing to fart on and was the Mavs’ hero of the night with 41/11/14 all-around.
  • If the Thunder played the Clippers 82 times, the Thunder would be first in the Western Conference. And the last Clippers, of course.
  • Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo carried the Heat into the Chase Center for long stretches, but Jordan Poole and especially Stephen Curry served late. 33 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists for Cook, 7/14 from the floor? In Old Taunton.
  • The Grizzlies didn’t get crushed against the Kings, and we even got to enjoy a solid performance from rookie Jake LaRavia, while Desmond Bane, among All-Stars or similar, went 30 walks again.
  • The Grizzlies, now tied with the Blazers and Jazz at the top of the West, and the Kings in last place, are off to an incredible start to the season with their friends from the Lakers.

Top pick in TTFL: Luka Doncic

Top 10: wait, thank you
